Helping Fathers Become Disciple-Makers.

Kent is an ordained minister and Christian speaker on a mission to turn dads into disciple makers—and he’ll make you laugh while he does it. From men’s retreats to podcasts, he delivers biblical, high-energy teaching that leaves audiences ready to act.

About Kent Evans: Christian Speaker, Author, and Co-Founder of Manhood Journey.

They told me not to write this in first person. But, in third person, he sounds ridiculous. So, here it goes.

First things first: I’m a follower of Jesus, April’s husband for more than 30 years, and the dad of five amazing sons (plus two even amazinger daughters-in-law). We live in Kentucky.

After two decades in the business world, I co-founded Manhood Journey to help dads become disciple-makers. I speak at men’s, fatherhood, and parenting events, host the Father On Purpose podcast with my friend Lawson Brown, and have written a few books along the way.

I take the Bible, my faith, and the gospel seriously. Everything else, a little less so. I strive to use biblical insight, humor, curiosity, and impassioned delivery to encourage audiences to learn, laugh, and grow. I’d be honored to explore whether I might be a good fit for your congregation, team, or organization.

Kent’s not trying to be the hero on stage. Jesus is the hero. He’s just a dad who’s been in the trenches, and his job is to look other dads in the eye and tell them the truth: “Your kids need you leading at home.”

Growing the Biblical Fatherhood Movement.

Manhood Journey exists to equip dads to disciple their families, and Kent’s work builds on that mission.
